Julie Anne Smith, A.K.A. Julianne Moor is a Hollywood writer and actress who has received critical recognition for her talents. Sagittarius. Born at the age of 3 in North Carolina December 3, 1960. She is oldest among three children, and was the daughter of Peter Moore Smith who was the paratrooper. The mother of her child Anne works as a psychotherapist. She's of Scottish-English descent. Her father was a professional and often moved her family. It was a struggle to make and keeping friends. Moore began acting in plays during her time at Frankfurt American High School when her family moved to Germany. Following the completion of the requirements for her B.F.A. from Boston University in 1983, Moore continued to seek further education. She graduated in 1983 with the degree of B.F.A. After graduating, Moore began her off-Broadway career in New York. In 1985 she made her television debut on The Edge of Night. She played the roles of Sabrina Hughes and Frannie Hughes in the show As the World Turns that was her first major role. The show lasted from 1986 to 1988. World Turns through 1988. As a result of her character she was awarded an Daytime Emmy Award. In 1990 she made her acting debut as an actress in Tales from the Darkside: The Movie. Then, she said it was a low budget film. She was in Short Cuts (1993) and 3 Women (1997) both produced by Robert Altman. For the former, Moore won numerous awards as well as the acclamation of critics. Moore got her first role as a lead in Safe (1996). Steven Spielberg, who was the director for Jurassic Park: The Lost World in 1997, one of the year's highest earning films, chose Moore as the main actress. In 1999, she was a part of the critically-acclaimed Magnolia and earned a SAG nomination for her performance. In 2002 she co-starred in The Hours which got nominated for nine Academy Awards with Nicole Kidman and Meryl Streep. Moore is also featured in The Forgotten (2004), Freedomland 2006, Shelter 2010, etc. Non-Stop premiered in the year 2014. Moore has been on numerous television and film shows. Most recently, she starred as the lead character in You Finish Saving The World (2022). She's established herself in Hollywood as well as being an author of children's books that is successful. The first book she published was Freckleface Strawberry in 2007 and became an N.Y.T. Best-seller, it was also adapted into series and a music. The author also released her book My Mom's a Foreigner in 2013. Moore is a renowned actress and writer. Her personal life, thus, is in the public domain. She was married to John Robin from 1984 until 1995. Bart Freundlich has given her two kids. Moore later got married to him in 2003. Moore is a woman who values her work and family.
